What type of players are we looking for?

 

The worst poker players playing at the online poker sites are the so-called loose-passive players. They like to call bets often but very rarely bet or raise, these type of poker players are also often being referred as calling stations. The other type of player that it is relatively easy to win against, is the  maniac. Against these super aggressive poker players you have to be able to keep your head cool and wait for the right opportunity to take their money.

 

 

1. They play way too many hands! Weak players have a very loose hand selection and they often get themselves into a lot of trouble by playing too many starting hands. If you select your starting hands more often, you will notice that it is easy to make money in the long run by playing against these type of players.

 

2. They go too far with their hands! Weak poker players don’t know when to fold their hand, they just keep on calling all the bets even though they have no more chance of winning the hand. These players are really ideal for you to make money off.

 

3. Predictability! Some poker players are extremely predictable, when they bet or raise you, they have a great hand. When they just check or call, they have a mediocre hand, possibly a draw. Playing poker against these type of players is almost as easy as if you would see their cards.

 

4. Overplaying draws! This seems to be a very common mistake among poker players, they think that that their flush or straight draw are the nuts and that’s how they play them. Sure in Omaha you may go all in right off the flop with the best draw, but in Texas Hold’em you definitely do not want to be doing that except on some rare and special occasions.
